La Crosse Technology® offers Weather Direct Lite™ as a FREE solution for people that do not have a high-speed Internet connection or a network router.

Weather Direct Lite™ uses the FREE USB transceiver shown above to provide a similar experience to Weather Direct™ . Just plug the FREE USB transceiver into an open USB port on your computer.

Because Weather Direct Lite™ uses a USB transceiver instead of a gateway and network router, it receives weather updates ONLY when your computer is powered on.

Weather Direct Lite™ supports the same Expansion Options as Weather Direct™ with the exception of Weather Alerts.
