 Outdoor Sensor Setup - No outdoor temperature scrolling on display:
- Watch the scroll line for the outdoor temperature to appear. Or press the SNOOZE key (The "+" key on the WD-2511, WD-2512, WD-2513 models) for an instant reading.
- If there is no outdoor temperature reading:
- Bring the TX-50U Outdoor Sensor within 5 feet of your Display
- Remove batteries from the Device and the Sensor and wait 15 minutes.
- Install fresh brand name alkaline batteries into the Display. Make sure to insert the batteries with the "+" and "-" ends aligned with the diagram in the battery compartment. The Display will not work if the batteries are inserted in the wrong direction.
- When the forecast icons appear on the Display, install batteries into the Sensor. Make sure to insert the batteries with the "+" and "-" ends aligned with the diagram in the battery compartment. The Sensor will not work if the batteries are inserted in the wrong direction. Do not press any buttons for 15 minutes.
- Watch the scroll line for the outdoor temperature to appear.
- For most Weather Direct® models, press the "SNOOZE" key for an instant outdoor temperature reading.
- For the WD-2511, WD-2512, WD-2513 models press the "+" key for an instant outdoor temperature reading.
- After waiting 15 minutes to allow strong connection to form, you can now place the sensor outside.
